Seasonal Honey-Do’s

Whether or not you are thinking of selling your home, keeping your property in good condition will add to its value. Listed below are some basic maintenance tasks which should be performed in the spring.

□ Change batteries in smoke alarms throughout the house
□ Prune trees and shrubs
□ Have your air conditioner professionally serviced
□ Re-seed, aerate and fertilize the lawn
□ Replace furnace filter(s)
□ Inspect exterior finishes and repaint as required
□ Inspect and clean gutters and downspouts
□ Examine interior finishes and repaint as needed
□ Clean area around air conditioner compressor
□ Power wash and re-seal wooden decks and patios
□ Clean debris from and repair cracks in driveway, sidewalks and walkways
□ Repair torn screens and wash screens and windows
